How it all started...
We came across the Il Molino Farm about 12 years ago during a holiday in Italy, never knowing that one day we would be representing their delicious products here in the UK.
The farm has been in the Torzilli family since the 17th century and the present owners, Annalisa and Mauro, have educated us throughout the years on the health benefits of olive oil, methods of production as well as the importance of organic farming and creating an environment fit for future generations.
About the farm...
The Il Molino Organic Farm covers some stunning hilly country in the north of lazio region between Montefiascone and Tuscania near Lake Bolsena.
The name IL Molino (the mill) is based on the existence of an old mill which was powered by the water from the stream that still ripples through the estate.
The farm has been in the Torzili family;y since the 17th Century and run as an organic concern for the past 30 years, beautifully managed by Annalisa and Mauro Torzili.
With 250 hectares, 40 are given over to olive groves, the rest being a mix of cereal crops and orchards with plum, apricot, sour cherry and hazelnut trees.

Our market stall
As a small business we have been trading on Cambridge market for the past 10 years, gradually building a strong customer base as more and more people come to appreciate the taste and health benefits of using organic extra virgin olive oils in their daily diet. You might also find us sometimes at Ely Farmers Market as well as Mill Road Christmas Fair.
